TAKE NOTICE that:
- The Applicants intend to apply to the Royal Court of Guernsey at The Royal Court House, St Peter Port, Guernsey (Royal Court) on 5 December 2025 at 9:30 am for the sanction pursuant to Section 44 of the Insurance Law by the Royal Court of a scheme (the Scheme) providing for the transfer to the Transferee of the whole of the long term insurance business of the Transferor, including in respect of Guernsey-resident policyholders.
- Copies of the proposed application and the report of an independent actuary (Report) are available for inspection (or for collection free of charge) at all reasonable times at the offices of Mourant Ozannes (Guernsey) LLP at the address given below up to and including the date of the Royal Court hearing. Copies of the Report can also be obtained free of charge from the website of the Applicants (www.aviva.co.uk/partvii), by emailing partvii@aviva.com, by writing to the Transferor at Aviva Part VII, Wellington Row, York, North Yorkshire, England, YO90 1WR or the Transferee at Aviva Part VII, Wellington Row, York, North Yorkshire, England, YO90 1WR or by telephoning on 0800 158 4048 (or 00 44 1603 603 866 if calling from overseas) until the date on which the Royal Court sanctions the Scheme.
- Any person (including any employee of any of the Applicants) who alleges that they may be adversely affected by the carrying out of the Scheme is entitled to attend the hearing and be heard by the Royal Court. If you intend to appear at the hearing before the Royal Court, you are requested, but not required, to give notice of your intention to do so to Mourant Ozannes (Guernsey) LLP as soon as possible and preferably by 19 November 2025, at the address given below.
