NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an annual meeting of the Members of Garenne Construction Group Limited will be held at 10:00AM on 23 May 2024 at the Dorey Room, St James, College Street, St Peter Port, Guernsey, GY1 2NZ. In view of the Company being insolvent, the Liquidator has deemed it appropriate to invite the Creditors to the same meeting.
The meeting is called pursuant to Section 399 of the Companies (Guernsey) Law 2008 for the purpose of receiving an account of the Joint Liquidators’ acts and dealings and of the conduct of the winding up. A member and creditor entitled to attend and vote is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote in their place. A proxy holder need not be a member or creditor.
The following resolutions will be considered at the meetings:
- That the Joint Liquidators’ annual report, which includes details of the progress of the Liquidation during the period from 31 March 2023 to 30 March 2024, be approved.
- That the Joint Liquidators’ Receipts and Payments account for the period from 31 March 2023 to 30 March 2024 be approved.
- To appoint Mr Matthew Wright of Leonard Curtis C.I. Limited as Joint Liquidator with immediate effect.
Proxies to be used at the meetings must be returned to the offices of Leonard Curtis at Las Vardes House, La Charroterie, St Peter Port, Guernsey, GY1 1EL no later than 12 noon on the working day immediately before the meetings.
