PARISH OF ST. MARTIN
The Constables and the Douzaine of the Parish of St. Martin request the Electors and Ratepayers to meet in the Parish Hall on Wednesday 19th March 2025 immediately following the meeting convened by the Rector and Churchwardens, to transact the following business:-
- To decide whether they are in favour of voting the following amount to be levied by means of Owner’s Rate for the current year:-
Upkeep of the New Cemetery £17,995.00
Parochial Education £ 5,000.00
Parochial Staff Costs £42,500.00
Parochial Property – Upkeep and Maintenance £85,170.00
Parochial adminstration and Floral £78,913.00
Street Lighting £19,250.00
Provision of Christmas Lights £ 7,750.00
£256,578.00
Less income from rents £ 29,742.00
TOTAL: £226,836.00
- To authorise the Constables to apply to the Royal Court for permission to levy the sums above.
- To decide that the said Owner’s Rate, together with that approved at the meeting convened by the Parochial Church Property Management Board, shall be levied.
- To decide whether they are in favour of voting for the following amount to be levied upon property owners by means of Refuse Rate for the collection and disposal of household refuse for the current year.
Refuse Rate £376,484.00
- To authorize the £factors for the Cadastre Categories which remains unchanged for 2025.

- To approve the Constables accounts for 2024 which have been prepared.
- To elect accountants for the Constables, Parish Committees and the Parochial Welfare Fund respectively for the year 2025.
- To provide and update on the Community Plan Project.
- To take all such measures relating to the above as the Electors and Ratepayers may deem necessary.
- Any other business.
