The Constables and Douzaine of the above Parish invite the Electors and Ratepayers to meet at the Douzaine Room on Wednesday 12th March 2025 immediately following the Ecclesiastical Meeting already convened for 7-30p.m. to transact the following business: -

  1. To approve the Parochial Cemetery Accounts for 2024, which have been duly prepared and are available for inspection up to the Parish Meeting on the Parish website, www.valeparish.gg
  2. To elect auditors for the Parochial Cemetery Accounts for 2025.
  3. To approve the Constables Accounts for 2024 which have been duly prepared and are available for inspection up to the Parish Meeting on the Parish website, www.valeparish.gg.
  4. To decide if they are in favour of voting the following amounts to be raised by means of Owners

Rates in 2025:

Ordinary upkeep of the Parochial Cemeteries

Parochial Administration incl. postage, telephones, Digimap,

legal and clerical expenses, salaries and general upkeep and

maintenance of the Douzaine Room and grounds.

Contribution to States Cadastre

Contribution towards the cost of books for school libraries

Provision & maintenance of equipment for playground at

Les Amarreurs.

COLLECTION OF DOMESTIC REFUSE

To decide whether they are in favour of voting the following amount to be levied upon property owners by means of Refuse Rates for the collection of household refuse for the current year. NB: Inclusive of subsidy from accruals of 2018 Refuse Rates.

  1. (a) To approve the said Owners Rate, together with that approved at the meeting convened by the       Rector and Church Wardens shall be levied by applying the relative factors to the TRP unit value

of the Cadastre Categories.

(b) To approve the said Refuse Rate to be equally apportioned between each Habitable Unit.

(c) To request the Constables to apply to the Royal Court for a Remède to levy the aforesaid sums.

  1. To take all such measures as the Electors and Ratepayers may deem advisable.
