The Rector and Churchwardens of the above Parish request the Electors and Ratepayers to meet at the Vale Douzaine Room on Wednesday 12th of March 2025 at 7:30 pm to transact the following business:-

  1. To pass the 2024 Trésor account before the Dean of Guernsey or his delegate.
  2. To pass the Churchwardens’ Parish Accounts for 2024 which have been duly examined.
  3. To appoint an examiner for the Churchwardens’ Parish Accounts for 2025.
  4. To elect a People’s Churchwarden to replace Mr Jeremy C. S. F. Smithies, who has resigned office as of today, for the unexpired term of office to 2026.
  5. To elect two Ratepayers to serve on the Vale Parish Church Property Management Board for the following year under Section 6(1)(d) of the Parochial Church Property (Guernsey) Law 2015 to replace Mr T. I. Ashworth whose term of office has expired but who is eligible for re-election and Mr C. W. Smith who does not wish to stand for re-election.
  6. To receive a report on the insurance of the Parish Church.
  7. To decide whether they are of the opinion to levy by means of Owners’ Rate the under-mentioned sums, as recommended by the Vale Parish Church Management Board, for the Churchwardens’ requirements during 2025:-

                a. Ordinary repairs and maintenance of the Parish Church

                                Repairs to roof platform access to spire and gully

                                Carry out repairs to plasterwork adjacent to Font
