St Sampsons Parish Remede 2025
The Constables and Douzaine of the Parish of Saint Sampson invite the Ratepayers and Electors thereof to attend a meeting at St Sampsons Church Community Hall, Les Grandes Maisons Road, St Sampsons on Wednesday, 2 April 2025 at 7.30pm, immediately after the meeting convened by the Rector and Churchwardens, for the following business:
(1)To approve the Parochial Cemetery Accounts for 2024, which have been duly audited and may be inspected at the Constables Office during office hours up to and including 2 April 2025.
(2)To pass the Constables Accounts for 2024, which have been duly audited and may be inspected at the Constables Office during office hours up to and including 2 April 2025.
(3)To elect Auditors for the above Accounts for 2025.
(4)To approve the relative factors to be applied to the TRP unit value of the relevant Cadastre Categories for the purpose of (i) the Owner’s Rate, & (ii) the domestic categories to be subject to refuse rate, copies of which are available for inspection at the Douzaine Office.
(5)To decide whether they are in favour of voting the following amounts to be levied by means of Owner’s Rate for 2025:

Collection Of Domestic Refuse
(6)To decide whether they are in favour of voting the sum of £395,616 to be levied (by applying a single unit charge) on all domestic property unit owners in the parish by means of Refuse Rate for the collection of household refuse for the current year.
(7)To authorise the Constables to apply to the Royal Court for a Remède to levy the agreed expenditure.
(8) To take all such measures relating to the above as the Ratepayers and Electors may deem advisable.
