Public Notice of Winding Up of The Guernsey Deaf Children’s Society (Charity Number: CH138)

Notice is hereby given that the members of The Guernsey Deaf Children’s Society (Society), an unincorporated association established for the purpose of giving help and support to all hearing-impaired children and their families in Guernsey and to strive for adequate services to be provided for deaf and hard of hearing adults, have resolved to wind up the affairs of the Society.

Following the winding up, and in accordance with the Society’s rules and the decision of its Committee, any remaining funds and assets will be transferred to Guernsey Hard of Hearing LBG, a registered charity (Charity Number CH230) (Company Registration Number:CMP70292) having similar charitable objects.

The Society will therefore cease operations as of 31 December 2025, and all correspondence relating to the winding up should be addressed to: Leonie Burrows, Chairperson at GDCSCharity@gmail.com
