The Rector and Churchwarden of the above Parish request all Ratepayers and Electors
of the said Parish to meet at Blanchelande College Rosaire Hall, St. Andrew’s, on Tuesday the 31st March 2026 at 7.30 pm for the following purposes: -
1. To approve the Trésor Accounts presented by the Very Reverend T.R. Barker, Dean of Guernsey, or his delegate.
2. To approve the Churchwardens’ Parochial Accounts, which have been duly certified.
3. To appoint Accountants of the Churchwardens’ Parochial Accounts for the current year.
4. To elect a People's Warden.
5. To elect two ratepayers to serve on the Parochial Church Property Management Board.
6. To decide whether they are in favour of voting the following amounts to be levied by means of Owner’s Rate: -
£
(a) Ordinary repairs to the Parish Church 4,000
(b) Extraordinary repairs to the Parish Church 46,000
(c) Upkeep and ordinary repairs of Church Cemeteries 12,500
(e) Insurance of Church, and adjacent Buildings 3,313
(f) Cost of servicing the Church Clock 875
(g) Water Rate 350
(h) Audit fee 350
(j) Bank charges 70
Total 67,458
Less balance at bank on 1st January 2026 22,424
Net sum for Remêde £45,034
7. To request the Constables to include the net sum voted in the Remêde.
8. To take such measures as the Ratepayers and Electors may deem
advisable in these matters.
