Parish of Torteval Remede

The Constables of the Parish of Torteval hereby give notice that they will apply to the Royal Court at 9.30am on Friday 29th May 2026  for permission to levy the sum in respect of the Owners Rate of  NINETY-ONE THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED AND FORTY ONE POUNDS (£91,441) by way of Owner’s Rate, and in respect of the Refuse Rate the sum of SIXTY-ONE THOUSAND POUNDS (£61,000) by way of Refuse Rate to cover the year from 1st July 2026 to 30th June 2027, in accordance with the deliberations of the said Ratepayers and Electors at their meeting on 13th May 2026. Any person intending to oppose the application should give written notification of such intention to the Greffe, sending a copy of such notification to the Constables and Douzaine of Torteval, prior to Friday 29th May 2026.

The applicable rates for the assessable value of Cadastre categories may be inspected at the Chambre de la Douzaine, Torteval.
