NOTICE
THE ROAD TRAFFIC (PARKING PLACES) ORDINANCE, 1963

In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Committee for the Environment & Infrastructure by Section 1 of The Road Traffic (Parking Places) Ordinance, 1963, as amended, notice is given of proposals to:

Replace the single vehicle taxi rank on The Albany entrance road, South Esplanade, St Peter Port with a half-hour disc parking space.

Replace three angled 1hr disc parking spaces on The Albany exit road, South Esplanade, St Peter Port with a designated taxi rank for two vehicles.

Replace two parking spaces on the north-east side of the road, near Havelet North Slipway, with an approved parking space reserved for people in possession of a Blue Badge. These spaces currently operate between 2hr disc parking from 15th March and 10hr disc parking from 16th October.

Replace nine 1hr disc parking spaces on the north side of the road by the Half Moon Battery with nine 10hr disc parking spaces.

Replace the ten parking spaces on the seaward side of the road, between the rock outcrop south of the Horseshoe Pool and the entrance to the Mixed Bathing Pool, with year-round 2hr disc parking. These spaces currently alternate between 2hr disc parking from 1st May and 10hr disc parking from 1st October.

Install an approved parking space reserved for people in possession of a Blue Badge to the north of the loophole tower, Route de Petit Bot, Forest.
