A new heating tariff will come into effect from 1^st November 2026.

This new two-rate heating tariff is designed for heat storage systems that automatically store and provide heat using 19-hours of off-peak electricity each day. Heating systems should be sized so that the normal rate electricity is only used as an emergency backup.

		Effective from 1^st November 2026	1 unit = 1 kWh
Off Peak Heat 19	Standing Charge	£14.93	per quarter
	Low rate units	13.63p	per unit
	Normal rate units	34.08p	per unit

Normal rate units apply for two periods of, 2-hour 30-minutes each day, with a minimum of 6-hours between them.
